Stuff...

We have been busy!!! With softball 4 nights a week, the busyness of life with a 2 1/2 year old and a 6-whoops! I mean 7 month old, I can hardly find time to post! Here are some of the things that are happening around here...





Dealing with Broody Chickens...

One of our chickens has been sitting on her eggs (we have no rooster, so they can't be fertilized) and we have been trying to get her off the eggs. We tried throwing her out but she kept going back in. So now we are dipping her in water every time we go out there and she is in the nesting box. (Not that this works any better than just throwing her out, but hopefully it will speed up the process.) Anyways, the hen has not stopped laying on her eggs... yet.?


Biking...

Just now Dad (the link is to our family blog (which mom and Dad should post on) which never does get posted on) and I went on a 12 mile bike ride. We did it in about one hour which isn't too bad for time.












Leah
