A fun Afternoon...

Well, (do I always start my posts this way?)

Anyways, today Mom was up at six, and I woke up to the lovely (or not so lovely) sound of Naomi calling at the top of her lungs: "Leah! I need to get up and have a diaper change and go potty!" Of course, I wasn't too delighted to wake up to this sound, but I was glad that I ended up getting up at seven. So, we got up, had Muesli (don't ask me how you pronounce it, because I don't know) and suddenly realized that if we were not done with breakfast, our morning chores, taking care of the chickens, doing our weekly cleaning, packing our swimsuits, and packing lunches by 10:00, we would be arriving at the W's house at 1:30. (This did not sound too good because everyone else would be arriving at 11:30. So we suddenly worked as fast as we could to get everything done. Anyways, we ended up finishing all of our work by 10:45. We were able to quickly get in the car and make it to W's house by 11:45. We arrived just as the Alvaros were getting there. All the kids (the W's, Us, the A's, and the S's)went outside and played soccer for a little while, then we had lunch, then we went swimming. Then we had the fabulous idea of going and playing soccer and getting hot, then coming and jumping in the pool. After this happened two times, it was time to go. :( We got home, cleaned up (again!) and I went and blogged... anyway, that was our day.
