Feminine Challenge and other randomness

Sorry we didn't finish posting on the feminine challenge.... I didn't finish it because I wasn't feeling good...Bronchitis (Everything I get drops to my chest real quick) Abby finished it, and I hope to do the challenge again sometime...

On to the randomness...
Yesterday we had a surprise party for our grandpa's 70th birthday at the Outdoor Discovery Center in Holland. It was lots of fun and we really surprised Pa! (We call our grandpa, "Pa") Anyway, the Outdoor Discovery Center keeps some large birds (hawks and falcons I think) and they saved the feeding until the party. We (the kids) got to feed some of the birds dead rats and mice. (I thought holding the rats and mice was cool... others weren't so sure.) I ended up feeding a Red Shouldered Hawk, a Turkey Vulture, and a Bald Eagle. (No, they didn't eat from your hand.) Jamie, the lead naturalist at the ODC, gave us the rats and mice and we put them on stumps and rocks in the bird cages. After we left, the birds ate their dinner. For those of you who live in Michigan, you should check out the ODC because they have a great facility.

Hi Leah & Abby,

Sory you coundn't finish your week in feminine attire, Leah; but I am sure you will try it again when time permits. Abby, great for you! I bet you enjoyed the feminine attire because you like to normally wear that type of clothing! Good Job!

Glad that you had such a good time at the ODC celebrating Pa's birthday. It sounded like a lot of fun for all of you.
