No More Braces!!!!!!

Today at two twenty (a thing that I consider miraculous(mom says I shouldn't say that)) happened: I got my braces off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Elizabeth saw what I was writing and started singing "wonder of wonders, miracle of miracles! Leah got her braces off today!" and so on. (We playfully tease each other a lot! ) Anyways, in two weeks I go back to get my retainer. I am so glad that I got to choose the first color of something that goes in my mouth today. (my retainer) My teeth feel so smooth. The only thing I miss about braces is you can always scratch your tongue on them. (So to all you with braces, enjoy scratching while you can.) Now to the process of getting the braces off...

1. You arrive at the orthodontist
2. You sit down in the chair
3. The orthodontist pulls the braces off without much pain
4. The orthodontist scrapes the majority of the glue off
5. The orthodontist drills the rest of the glue off (This does sound painful, but it is not.)
6. The orthodontist polishes your teeth
7. You get X-rays taken
8. They make a mold of your mouth so they can make a retainer
9. You get into the car and drive home
   

That summarizes how you get your braces off.
