A fun weekend with Dad!

Once a year, Mom and her sisters and our grandma go to Manistee to scrapbook. Us girls (other than Hannah) are left home with Dad. :) Mom (and Hannah) left on Friday night at about 5:30. When they left, we played "Duck, Duck, Goose" (but you can hardly call what Naomi does that... she chases when she supposed to be trying to reach safety, and won't sit down, and thinks she has to keep ducking once she has already said goose.) but Naomi had a cough (in fact, she still has it...) so we stopped playing because she started coughing. After that we played "hide-and-go-seek", then we ate an unhealthy dinner of miniature pizzas. Naomi went to bed and we watched "Dawn of the Dinosaurs." After the movie, we went to bed (but Naomi kept us up until midnight, then I moved into the schoolroom.) and (eventually) got to sleep. On Saturday morning we ate a late breakfast of pancakes and bacon. Then Naomi had a nap while we played "Settlers of Catan". Later Saturday afternoon, we went to dance practice while dad and Naomi went shopping. Afterword, we went to one of our favorite restaurants downtown: Yesterdogs. We had dinner then went home and rested. On Sunday morning Naomi was not well enough to go to church, so we laid low the whole day and then Sunday evening Mom got home. Overall, we had a great time... I'm looking forward to next year!!!!
